HKVNS Alumni Association Kindergarten (KCC) Information on Admission to K1 Classes in the 2025/26 School Year and K1-K3 transfer students in 2024/25 School Year

Return method: Register through the registration system or submit the application form in person / by post , together with the documents required, including:
a) Certificate of Birth / Any document confirming the residence in Hong Kong〔Original Document and Copy
b) Parents’ Identity Cards〔Copies〕
c) One Students’ Passport Photo
d) Immunisation record 〔Original Document and Copy〕
Application Fee: $30 (the application fee will not be refunded)

Application for the “2025/26 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission”

Education Bureau (EDB) has implemented the Free Quality Kindergarten Education policy from the 2017/18 school year to replace the existing “Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme”. Under the new Scheme, EDB replaced the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” as the document for registration in the 2025/26 school year.
Parents are required to submit an application for the “2025/26 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (hereafter referred as “2025/26RC”) to EDB from September to November 2024. The “2025/26 RC” will be open for applications in September 2024 and EDB will announce and upload the details of application onto EDB’s website in due course.

Admission Criteria：

Interview performance
Our school will be considering applications for WD services and priorities families that require the services (such as working parents or need to take care of a disabled family member, etc.)
The applicant with sibling(s) currently studying in the kindergarten/ is a relative of our school organization member will be given due priority consideration

Interview Arrangements：

The kindergarten will arrange interview for all applicants
The interview will be held in November 2024.
Individual interviews will be arranged(Non-Chinese speaking children will be interviewed in English, with Urdu translation available if necessary)
Parents should accompany their child for the interview
Please contact us at 23847272 if interpretation / translation service if required during the interview with non-Chinese speaking (NCS) applicants. We also allow NCS parents and children to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend during the interview to facilitate communication.

Announcement of Admission：

The kindergarten will notify parents for the admission result by post or email before 13 December 2024.

Registration Arrangements：

Successful applicants: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child from 2 to 4 January 2025 (“Centralised Registration Dates”) by submitting the original of the “2025/26 RC” to the kindergarten and paying the registration fee.
Applicants on the waiting list: The kindergarten will notify parents for the result by post or email, Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by the school. Parents are required to submit the original of the “2025/26 RC” to the kindergarten and pay the registration fee.
Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit the “2025/26 RC” during registration, the kindergarten may not be able to complete registration for their child. Hence, parents are required to submit application for the Registration Certificate to EDB within the specified period.
In the academic year, the registration fee is HK$970 for half-day classes and HK$1,570 for full-day classes. If parents decide to change school after registration, please notify the kindergarten in writing. The kindergarten will return the “2025/26 RC” but the registration fee will not be refunded. Upon obtaining the “2025/26 RC”, the kindergarten will no longer keep the school place for the child.
